The Maybank Foundation , established in 1972, aspires to attract the most promising scholars from across the region and assure them a quality education that would help them reach their full potential. The scholarship programme also includes a mentoring framework, opportunities for internships and development interventions for skill-building.
We run a series of financial literacy programmes in tandem with Money Tree (M) Sdn. Bhd. Maybank adopts primary schools, and the children learn about basic financial education such as inflation and interest rates through workshops conducted by Money Tree. We want to help prepare young Malaysians for the financial challenges they will face in the future by inculcating responsible personal financial habits.
