JR Biotek Foundation is a non-profit (501(C)(3)) organization established to advance knowledge and technical skills in applied biosciences and STEM in Africa. We work with top world Universities, including the University of Cambridge to create tailor-made solutions for effective teaching and learning of modern scientific principles and laboratory techniques for students, academics and researchers across countries in Africa. Our goal is to educate, inspire and empower a new generation of scientists and bio-industry leaders who are capable of contributing to Africa’s sustainable development through high impact research, innovation and bio-entrepreneurship.

To inspire and encourage young students and aspiring scientists in sub-Saharan Africa to pursue advanced degrees and careers in biosciences. This will help to build a strong workforce that can make scientific advances that will improve millions of lives in the continent.
