The Bauchi State Scholarship Board headed by Hussaini Saraki, offers several scholarships and bursaries to all qualified indigenes of the state.
The board receives and processes applications submitted by candidates for scholarships offered by the Bauchi State Government, those offered in collaboration with the Nigerian or Foreign Governments.
Students who successfully apply for and are selected for these scholarships are invited for screening after which funds will be disbursed to them.

Requirements for BSSB Undergraduate Scholarship
- Be an indigene of Bauchi State
- Be enrolled in a program in any accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Students in Higher Institutions like the university, Polytechnics, College of Education, etc are all expected to have a minimum CGPA of 3.0

- SSCE/GCE O’Level Certificate.
- Evidence of State of Origin / Local Government.
- School ID card or National ID or Driver’s Licence or International passport.

- Visit any accredited registration center within or outside Bauchi to proceed with your online application. Read the terms and conditions, It is very important that all applicants know the terms and conditions for this scholarship program. As rejection of applicants form would be based on disobedience to the guidelines of this program.
- Pay the sum of One thousand two Hundred Naira (N1200) for application form and Three Hundred Naira (N300) for online registration and application
- Collect the completed acknowledgement printout slip and then take it to your institution for attestation and wait for physical verification
