The University of Haifa is the only comprehensive research university in northern Israel, and the most pluralistic institution of higher education in the country. The University of Haifa is a world-class academic institution with a diverse population of over 18,000 students made up of secular and religious Jews, Christian and Muslim Arabs, Druze and Bedouin, new immigrants and native Israelis and a growing number of students from around the world.
The University’s 1,200 faculty members serve in six faculties: humanities; social sciences; natural sciences and science education; law; social welfare and health studies; and education.
The University also houses an independent Graduate School of Management. Within this academic structure, the University encompasses numerous research centers and institutes that focus on a wide range of subjects and fields.
