The Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) Scholarships Programme is inviting applications for its scholarship award from intelligent Nigerian and Ghanian students between the ages of 25 and 35 who may or may not have work experience.
The scholars will be exceptionally intelligent graduates who have excelled academically as well as in other areas of their lives first-class or second-class upper undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in any discipline. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.7 out of 4.0.

Benefits of AIG Masters Scholarship
The scholarship will cover:
- Full tuition fees
- Accomodation fees
- Living expenses
Requirements for AIG Masters Scholarship
- You must be a citizen of Nigeria or Ghana
- You must be between the ages of 25 and 35 years (must not be 36 years old by December 31, 2019)
- You must have a first-class or second-class upper undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in any discipline. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.7 out of 4.0
- Preferably Top 10% of graduating class (First, Second or Master’s Degree) - evidence to be provided.
- Possess evidence of game-changing leadership and resultant impact
- Possess evidence of skills and interests outside academics
Selection Process
- Academic distinction & Leadership potential are key priorities for the selection and candidates will be required to present evidence of skills and achievements indicated.
- A Master’s, Second Degree or Relevant Professional Qualification will be an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and resultant impact
- Impeccable moral character
