This is an opportunity for African youth to share thier thoughts, ideas and experiences on the “Leadership for the africa we want”.

And the youths would have their winning entries contribute to the Pan-African young Leaders Training Manual.

Requirements for African Union Essay Competition

1. Entries are welcome from all 55 AU Member States
2. Young women are strongly advised to apply
3. African leaving in Africa or diaspora can apply
4. Maximum word limit of 1,000 words
5. Written in any of the African Union official languages
6. Submit a copy of Your National ID or Passport
