The Nokia Foundation is pleased to announce the 2020/21 Nokia Foundation Scholarship for doctoral students. The scholarship is intended to encourage efficient, fast-progressing doctoral studies and research.

The Nokia Foundation was established to promote and support scientific development and education in the information and telecommunications technology sectors. Nokia Scholarships are granted to individuals pursuing a doctoral degree in information or telecommunications technology or in a clearly related supporting scientific disciplines.

Requirements for Nokia Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship

• Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time doctoral programme in eligible course at a Finnish university or universities abroad.
• Applicants must have obtained relevant bachelor and master’s degree from recognized universities.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic and leadership potentials as evident in their academic records.
• Applicants must be pursuing a doctoral degree in information or telecommunications technology or in clearly related supporting scientific disciplines.
