The Obama Foundation Leaders Award

The Obama Foundation has declared applications for the 2019 Obama Foundation Cohort of the Leaders is open for application.

The award is available to postgraduate students who will undergo training at the Foundation upon selection.

Benefits of Obama Foundation Training

The Foundation covers economy class arifare, ground transportation in South Africa, and shared domitory accomodation that cover the period of covening.

Requirements for Obama Foundation Training

• You must be citizen of an African country
• You must currently reside in an African country
• You must be between 24-40 years before the 28 of February
• You must be fluent in speaking reading and writing English

For the requirement;

• Leaders are required to participate inm a 5 days covening from July10-July 15 in Johannesbourg South Africa 2019
• Leaders are required to take part in intense online and virtual programming activities 
• Leaders are committed to on-going learning and peer mentoring through in-person getherings
• As active stewards of the program, leaders are expected to collaborate with the foundation to evaluate and refine the program for the future cohort
